How are we each being called?
As with any area of pastoral formation, Young Adult Ministry seeks to develop the whole Christian person, looking at the ways Catholic men and women in their 20s and 30s are integrating their faith intellectually, spiritually, communally, and socially through service. Here on the Fort Wayne end of the diocese, a dual desire has been felt toward that end. One from young adults themselves -- asking for continual formation in the spiritual life and the relationship between faith and charity . And, one from the community at large -- asking "where are the young adults" in responding to the needs of the community.
This conversation hopes to provide a forum through which those questions can begin being answered. It will provide a practical framework through which members of the Catholic Young Adult community can recognize their gifts, individually and collectively, and see where they can be used to reflect the call of the Gospel among their peer community, parish community, and civic community.
