Catholic Communications Office
The Catholic Communications Office for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend is responsible for spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to Catholics, the surrounding community, and the secular media. The Communications Office has many functions, including acting as a media liaison for Bishop John D’Arcy. Here is an idea of what we do at the Catholic Communications Office.
Live Sunday TV Mass
We coordinate and produce two live Sunday morning TV Masses broadcast in Fort Wayne on NBC affiliate Indiana’s News Center Channel 33 and in South Bend on NBC affiliate WNDU-TV, Channel 16. Both Masses air at 10:30 a.m. The TV Mass is 30 minutes long and features a different celebrant each week.
