for 2009
The Office of Spiritual Development offers you, as individuals, groups and parishes, a series of seven articles on the Apostle Paul during the Year of St. Paul.
It is our hope that those who have participated in Disciples in Mission or who participate in on-going Small Christian Communities will find these seven sessions helpful for continued spiritual growth and catechesis. You may find these articles useful for youth and young adult group discussions, adult faith formation, or RCIA.
Please feel free to download the articles and use them in your parishes, schools or homes. Resources needed for these faith sharing materials include a Catholic Bible.

The Church Today
The eight part series on the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
An overview of the purpose and meaning of the sacraments will begin the series of faith sharing articles. Each following article provides a brief catechesis on one of the seven sacraments. The members of the faith sharing groups will reflect on the significance of each of the sacraments in their personal life of faith. As many catechumens and candidates prepare for full entrance into our Catholic Faith, we felt it might be good for all of us to review or renew our commitment to the beautiful sacramental life of the Catholic Faith. Members of the Diocesan staff, with the pastoral support of Father Michael Heintz and Father Edward Erpelding, have written the reflections.
