Divorce Ministry

Welcome to the Diocesan Divorced Ministry Page!

Know that the Church is always your home, no matter how long you may have been away, or whatever your painful experience may be.

"The Church, Mother and Teacher, seeks the welfare and happiness of the home and when it is broken for whatever reason she suffers and seeks to provide a remedy, offering these persons pastoral guidance in complete fidelity to Christ's teachings." -Saint John Paul II

For all divorced Catholics, we offer several ministries throughout the diocese:

Surviving Divorce small group ministries:  Surviving Divorce features twelve video presentations that cover topics such as shock and grief, anger and forgiveness, money issues, dealing with children and a former spouse, and annulment and remarriage. This program is for the newly separated and divorced and for those still struggling with issues many years later.   It is based on the teachings of the Catholic Church and is open to anyone who needs comfort, counsel, and clarity after divorce.
