Cursillo Weekend

Cursillo is a lay movement that began in Spain in the 1940's. The word "Cursillo" means "short course" in Spanish. A Cursillo Weekend is a short course in Christianity presented over three days, beginning on a Thursday evening and ending on a Sunday afternoon.

A Cursillo Weekend includes 15 talks by clergy and lay presenters, small group discussion, prayer, Mass, the opportunity for Confession, and time to relax. All meals are provided from breakfast on Friday morning through lunch on Sunday afternoon.

Goals of the weekend are to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, better understand the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and learn how to share them with friends.
